Firmware Updates

Make absolutely certain your firmware needs upgrading by verifying the version prior to downloading these updates

Firmware upgrades for these specific models ONLY, 3650u, & 7250u (only older scanner require updating- if your unit is recently purchased your firmware is newer 
if your model is not listed below then no upgrades are available

NOTE: If you are MAC OS X user, please switch the interface to USB mode to upgrade the firmware. On Mac OS 10.05.. we no longer support Firewire connectivity due to compatibility issues
1. Turn off the scanner.
2. Switch the interface to USB on the back of the scanner.
3. Turn on the scanner.
4. Import the Cyberview X _SF driver.
5. Follow directions for Upgrading the firmware.

How to update scanner drivers on a PC
If you are Windows XP or Vista user, please follows the steps below:
1. Turn off the scanner.
2. Click on your language below to Download the drivers select "SAVE and select your Desktop from the drop down under Save As" the file EXAMPLE: SF_ENG.exe (English) from the links below
3. Locate this file "SF_ENG.exe" on your desktop, Double click  to run the setup installer. (NOTE: if a previous version driver was installed it will ask to remove it, once removed "you will see maintenance complete" Click finish then you must double click SF_ENG.exe again to install new version)
4. Connect the scanner and power it on when prompted to do so, then when completed reboot the PC
5.To acquire the driver Go to Start - All Programs - Cyberview X - SF and click on Cyberview X to open the interface for scanning.

Driver For MAC OS 10  - Cyberview X - SF Version 1.13a 
Since the release of Apple's 10.5 Leopard OS, our drivers are no longer compatible with a direct import into Adobe Products -Example: File -> Import-> Cyberview X-, this is due to the new Adobe software structure and driver handling, you may use Cyberview X to scan directly into a file folder on your hard drive then open images into Adobe for editing, as you may also import these images into iPhoto. How to update drivers on a Mac
NOTE:  If you have OS 10.5.. Turn off the Time machine feature, all OS versions disconnect/un-mount any external Hard drives and disconnect from any networks (once you have downloaded the drivers and are ready to install) to speed up the installation process
1. Disconnect the scanner from the computer
2. Click on the file SF_ENG.dmg to begin the download (ENG represents ENGLISH edition)
3. Once the file is downloaded you will have a VISE logo icon, Cyberview X double click on this to begin the installation follow the onscreen prompts
4. The password it needs it your Apple system password, if a previous driver was already installed you will be prompted to remove it, do so then when it has completed the new version will be installed

To use these new drivers
Go to Mac HD-Applications-Cyberview X_SF- and click on Cyberview X (looks like a piece of film) 
Once loaded you can click on this film icon in your dock and select to keep it there for easy program access in the future
