Jessops Primefilm 1800U
A compact unit dedicated to scanning slides and
negatives. Ideal for anyone with boxes full of negatives they wish
to digitise
|
Here is a scanner with a difference: instead of scanning
prints on a flat bed, it is designed to handle slides and negatives.
While most film scanners are aimed at professionals, this is designed
for the home user. Advanced Mode produces excellent results, although
you may need to tweak the settings beforehand. Since it takes up little
space and is remarkably light, it can be transported easily. The supplied
quartet of software packages are useful, although CyberView irritatingly
starts up every time you turn on your computer.
